This four-storey office-retail building, which we had the job of designing, was the first of three in this complex. We created it for the future tenant and owner – a global IT corporation. The company wished for a building powered mostly by renewable energy. We delivered above and beyond. The office block is powered by photovoltaic energy and received the BREEAM certificate with rating of Very Good. The building’s architecture is sparing and simple.
We used symmetrical elevation divisions, intentionally broken by structural shifts. We introduced ample glass for better office lighting. On the inside, we planned a patio for employees, while an externally located plaza created a semi-open space. On the ground floor, there is a representative entrance area, a lobby, a canteen for employees and clients, technical rooms and some offices. The other storeys are used for offices and back-up facilities.
